Hi Rogue Families,
We know how busy this season is shaping up to be with all our new senior teams and the addition of a second competitive youth team! We love seeing our athletes push themselves! However, we refuse to let our Hip Hop program fade away after such an incredible, winning season last year. Our Outlaws won the final Jamz Nationals event in May in the 18U hip hop division!
To make sure our athletes can do both cheer and hip hop without burning out (or overloading your family schedule), we are pivoting to a high-efficiency, low-stress format for this season!
Here is how we’re making Hip Hop work for you:
Outlaws Hip Hop (Elite / Multi-Team Athletes)
Designed specifically to accommodate athletes on multiple cheer teams. High energy, maximum impact, half the travel/commute time!
- Schedule: Every other Wednesday from 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
- Coaches: Led by Coach Kayla (Hollie also helping? – per Kayla’s approval)
- The Goal: Master routine choreography in concentrated 2-hour sessions so athletes get a top-tier competition experience with minimal weekly schedule conflict.
This arrangement is ideal, as most S5 athletes are already in the gym on Wednesdays from 5:00-6:30 for advanced tumbling with Haley, and there are no other commitments after that! Additionally, this will occur every other week.
To make adding Outlaws as seamless as possible for our dedicated athletes, we are offering a major tuition break. If your athlete is already competing on two or more Rogue teams and makes the Outlaws roster, monthly tuition for Outlaws is completely FREE! You will not be charged a monthly rate for this third team. The only required costs will be a $50 registration fee per competition and a $75 uniform fee due in mid September.
A note from Coach Becky:
Season 7 is shaping up to be something special, especially with so many of our athletes stepping up to cross over onto two or even three senior cheer teams. We know competitive cheer is the primary passion for most of our athletes, and we completely respect that it comes first. There are only so many hours in a week! But the truth is, we have an unbelievable amount of raw hip hop talent under this roof. Hip hop doesn’t require endless hours of repetition every single week for dancers who catch onto choreography quickly. It just needs passion and focus. Hip hop is what brought so many of your families through our doors in the first place; looking back, that program was truly a cornerstone of what saved Rogue last season. We love what we built together, and we refuse to let that fire die out. If your athlete was part of our hip hop family last year, we are asking you to bring them back. We’ve removed the time barrier and completely eliminated the tuition cost to make this a no-brainer. Let’s keep this legacy going, as we need you on the floor with us this season!
Marshalls Hip Hop (Intermediate/ Younger Athletes)

- Skill Crossover: Hip hop directly improves execution, performance expression, and agility for cheer routine performance scores.
