PIFS Overview

The Pay It Forward Scholarship (PIFS) is a reciprocal partnership designed to ensure that competitive cheerleading remains accessible while fostering a culture of community and mutual support. At Rogue Athletics, we believe in the power of the “team” extending beyond the blue mats. This scholarship is not a hand-out, but a “hand-in”—an opportunity for families to invest their unique skills, time, and resources into the gym in exchange for a reduction in tuition.

Tuition Credit Details

• Monthly PIFS Discount: 35% off the total monthly tuition balance.
• Scope: This discount applies to the athlete’s entire monthly tuition, including fees for participation on multiple teams or specialized training tracks.

The “Pay It Forward” Service Exchange

Primary Focus: Facility Stewardship (Cleaning)

The cleanliness and safety of our facility are our top priorities. As the owner currently handles all operations and maintenance, the primary way families can “Pay It Forward” is by joining our Facility Stewardship Team. This role involves dedicated shifts focused on mat sanitation, equipment safety checks, and maintaining a professional environment for our athletes. Reliability in this role is the backbone of our gym’s daily operations.

Secondary Focus: Diverse Support & Innovation

While facility maintenance is our greatest need, we recognize that our parents possess a wide array of specialized talents. If cleaning roles are full, or if you have a unique professional skill, trade, or resource that could significantly benefit Rogue Athletics, we encourage you to propose a Diverse Support plan.

We put the ball in your court: How can your family’s unique strengths help our gym grow or relieve the operational burden on our staff? This could include:

• Professional Services: Accounting, marketing, legal, or graphic design.
• Specialized Trades: Photography, carpentry, equipment repair etc. 
• Staff Support: Meal prepping for long camp weekends, administrative assistance, or errands.
• Resource Access: Specialized equipment, printing services, or local sponsorship connections.

Mandatory Digital Advocacy

As part of the PIFS partnership, we ask our scholarship families to be active advocates for our community. To finalize the activation of the PIFS credit, a member of the household must write an Google Review for Rogue Athletics. Your positive feedback helps our gym grow and allows us to continue offering programs like this one.

Program Terms and Conditions

1. Attendance and Reliability

Consistency is vital to gym operations. If a participant is unable to fulfill their scheduled service or shift, they must provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Failure to report or deliver will result in the immediate forfeiture of the 35% credit for that month.

2. Standards of Excellence

Whether cleaning the facility or providing a professional service, all work must meet the high standards of Rogue Cheer Athletics. For physical roles, a checklist must be signed off upon completion.

3. Professionalism and Confidentiality

Participants in the PIFS program are essential partners. Details of this financial arrangement are private and should not be discussed with other gym families.
