I’m thrilled to announce that Dream Camp is officially happening for our senior athletes!
We will be attending Dream Camp July 22nd-July 25th at Lewis & Clark University
615 S Palatine Hill Rd
Portland, OR
Dream Camp Details & Cost
The total cost for Dream Camp is $599 per athlete. This breaks down as follows:
- $100 for Camp Apparel: This includes three crop athletic tops/sports bras, one skirt, and two bows. Please note that athletes will need to bring two pairs of black Nike Pro-style(could be any brand) shorts.
- $499 for Camp Fee: This covers all meals (provided by the excellent cafeteria at Lewis & Clark University with many options), lodging, and amazing cheer instruction from July 22nd to 25th.
Camp Payment
- $100 for Camp Apparel: Due no later than July 16th to ensure we can order and receive gear on time. That can be paid to me on Venmo or Square.
- $499 due to Dream Camp: The payment link can be found here to pay Dream Camps directly. You’ll need to make an account. The $499 amount is due by the 22nd. It can be debit or credit card. I know some of you have arranged for the payment to come from me as you have funds you’ve recently given me. I’ll connect with you to confirm that if I haven’t already.
Why Dream Camp is Priceless
We have NINE senior team athletes confirmed for camp, which means we’ll have two solid stunt groups with an extra flyer to switch in! This camp is an unparalleled opportunity for several reasons:
- Skill Development: It’s the perfect way to jumpstart our Level 3 or 4 skills in stunting, tumbling and jumps.
- Team Building: This experience significantly strengthens our team bond. They do fun games, campfire bonding nights etc.
- Elite Coaching & Connections: Athletes will work with some of the best cheerleaders in the world from teams like Team USA, Team Australia, Weber State, TVCC, and Navarro. These connections can be incredibly inspiring and, in some cases, have even led to D1 cheer recruitment opportunities for my past athletes.
- Pure Fun: Beyond all the benefits, it’s genuinely a ton of fun and is often remembered as one of the best parts of the cheer season. I feel that our athletes need this opportunity more than ever after all the uncertainty. This solidifies for our senior team that this season is off to a strong start!
you can learn more about Dream Camp, see the schedule and packing list here . Additional things to add to the packing list would be your two pairs of Nike pro (any brand) shorts, at least 3 pairs of white crew socks, your white high top cheer shoes. Money for snacks.
Transportation & Camp Departure/Return
I am happy to provide free transportation for your athlete to and from camp in my 11-passenger van. We will leave at 7 am 22nd from Rogue Cheer Athletics. Getting up to camp around lunch time, getting settled in our dorm rooms and then getting started with our first day of camp shortly after. We will return home on the 25th in the early evening.
Opportunity to earn funds for other cheer fees
We’re running a kids’ camp at Rogue from July 28th-30th. We already have 8 kiddos signed up, and we expect to get more. All funds generated from this camp will directly benefit the senior athletes who work it. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to earn money to help cover their uniform fee. We also have other fundraisers in the works, so stay tuned for more info as those get scheduled!
July Tuition
I’ve decided to reduce tuition to $100 for all Youth and Senior athletes this month, due by July 15th. I know this month has been tough for many of us, and while I still have bills to take care of to keep Rogue going, I really want to help lighten your financial load given the unfortunate situation at the end of June. If you’re able to pay the full tuition amount, that would truly mean a lot; but please know that only $100 is needed by the 15th of July.
Please let me know if you have any questions about camp or cheer for July etc !
cheerfully, Coach Beck
