NATIONALS TRIP DETAILS COMING LATE SEPTEMBER 2022

LODGING DISCLAIMER – if you are a family who plans to attend competition and go the night before: We recommend going through Booking.com (or something similar) for hotel lodging which allows for you to book with no payment until you arrive at the hotel and most have a cancellation for free policy if it is within 24 hours of the lodging date. Competition schedules do not come out until the week prior to the event and schedules sometimes change if a team is added or dropped to the schedule. Booking with flexibility is the best bet so we can minimize stress with these events.

BUS DISCLAIMER- Youth athletes are NOT required to ride the bus to any of the competitions.  Please note that most competitions youth athletes will need a ride home from the competition because most events go much later in the day for the older divisions. Staying all day for most young athletes is very difficult and coaches will need to be focused on preparing the older teams to compete. This is our first season using a bus for events so it is a learning curve for us! Please be patient as we learn what works best.

BUS COST- There will be a $15/person bus fee each competition for those who ride the bus. This helps us cover the cost towards renting the bus for these competitions.

Our bus driver is George Elmore who we met through a cheer family through Grace Point Church this year. George has driven teams/youth groups to events for 20+ years. He volunteers his time to drive groups as a way of serving his community. He drove our team to cheer camp this summer up in Washington and from there we have had the blessing of having him be a driver for us for our competitive season. Buses are the typical yellow school bus rented through First Student Inc.

If you are unsure which events your athlete is competing at , please take a look at this infographic above and notice the orange writing next to each event. If you have any questions please reach out to your teams coach!
